This is the idea of the 24 Hour Charity Run 2012 at Woerschach/Irdning (Styria, Austria) taking place on 7th/8th July 2012. Besides of the adventure "running (or at least keep moving) for 24 hours", the very first aspect is the aid and support for those people who have not been favoured in their life. Therefore, I need your (financial) help.
So how does it work?
Of course, I have to do something in return to your donation. In case of a charity RUN, it seems logical that this is my running performance. Hence, I ask you to support
each kilometer I will run with a small amount of money. But to get me really motivated to keep on crawling, I think, another additional small amount for each kilometer I ran above 100
kilometers will help me a lot!
So below you can choose the base amount for each kilometer as well as the motivation amount for each kilometer above 100k. After your input, you will see an overview what your total amount of support will be depending on the total kilometers I achieve.
What is the field email as well as alias for?
If you state your email address, I will inform you after the run what is your exact donation depending on my achieved kilometers.
If you do not like to state your email address (although I assure you to only use it for communication in regards with this charity event),
you can fill in an alias and I will post the final amount together with your alias on this web-site after the run. Either way (email or alias)
I will calculate the amounts for you, so you don't have to bother with all that complicated maths ;-)
Who are the beneficiaries?
At the moment, it has not been anounced which organisation will be responsible for collecting all your donations. As soon as I receive more information,
I will publish it here. So, you can support the official charity organisation of the run or if you prefer to donate for another charity organisation
of your choice, I will be very pleased if you support that one instead with the amount achieved by my running performance!
I will regularly publish the current status of donations that all of you promised me.
THANK YOU VERY MUCH for your support and I hope to collect as many donations as possible! Yours, Martin
